After another epic Cracker Barrel breakfast we finally made it to our resort without so much as a hiccup. The girls were pretty excited about being at a new place. We spent the afternoon unpacking our things and setting up shop. Turns out the internet is free this year. Last year I remember paying upwards of 60 US dollars so that was a pleasant surprise. The 'room' we have is pretty much a two floor small condo. It's very nice. Full kitchen and bath with shower downstairs and a master bedroom and jacuzzi upstairs. We're pretty happy with the place.
Helena and the girls went exploring this afternoon mostly because the poor girls are restless. They got these plastic ponies at Wal-Mart and they've gone everywhere with them. They yell at them, put them to bed, and throw them down the stairs. The kids sure know how to play.
We just finished supper and we're all pretty beat from all the coming and going. The next two and a half weeks are spent here though so we'll have time to rest and see the ocean. I just hope the weather warms up a bit because it's not the hot sunny place we were hoping for. Not yet anyway...

Glad that you are finally settled in. Have a great vacation and keep the daily blogs comming. Lots of love.
ReplyDeleteHey! Glad you made it to your resort. The weather here is spring like....snow melting away but we're getting the cold cold deep tundra cold coming in tonight so I'm sure your "not the hot sunny place" is WAY better than this :)!! What's up with kids throwing toys around??? Nathan is an expert at it! Anyway, lots of hugs to you all. Get some pictures up of your place...bye. Anna
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to those Cracker Barrel eats too. "See y'all next time". Sounds like you have a comfortable place to stay, now just have fun. It's snowing here today, so enjoy your not so hot weather. At least you don't need boots. Like Anna said deep-freeze is coming back tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteBesides the Cracker Barrel, you should try checking out Sonny's BBQ for supper. All you can eat BBQ chicken and sides for $7! It's not the fanciest place, so your kids can bring their plastic ponies.
